Tuesday, January 8, 2013. When I photographed a dancer last summer, I had almost no idea of what the final shot would be. I collected a range of mid-air poses and thought I could figure out and composite the rest later. When my initial tests came back a bit one-dimensional, I thought that maybe I was missing some environmental context. So I pulled out some old latex rock molds and started mixing plaster.

Saturday, November 17, 2012. It is with great sadness that I am writing to share with you the passing of Pastor Fabian Castillo of Tocomacho, Honduras. Pastor Fabian was killed this past Friday evening while walking home from church. His wife Carlota Ruiz Castillo, son and two grandchildren were with him at the time. They are all safe at home now.
